Selene Muñoz

Selene Muñoz, an esteemed Danish-Spanish dancer and choreographer, embarked on her dance journey at the tender age of four. By eleven, she had her inaugural production, closely chronicled by the Danish National Television DR1. Her expertise soon led her to instruct and conduct workshops, having tutored talents from The Royal Danish Ballet, NYC Ballet, and Cirque Du Soleil. Europe, the USA, and Asia have seen her share her knowledge. Her education accolades include the distinguished Amor de Dios and The Royal Conservatory of Dance in Madrid.

 

With a Scandinavian lineage, Selene stands unparalleled as the most internationally recognized contemporary flamenco artist. Acclaim for her avant-garde, deeply personal fusion of classical and modern styles has won her various awards and scholarships. Her performances have graced globally renowned venues, from the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the World Expo in Shanghai, and the Royal Danish Theater. She's honored the stages of high-profile events like the Danish Crown Prince award ceremony, The Prince Henrik of Denmark Gala Dinner, and HRH Queen Margrethe's 75th Anniversary. Selene's victory in the Beat Cancer edition of "Dancing with the Stars" (Danish version) is a testament to her versatility. Her latest endeavor, 7SENSES, witnessed an overwhelming reception with sold-out Tivoli's Glass Hall shows.
